Amiad awarded a large FPSO contract

In August 2007, Amiad Filtration Systems, via its subsidiary FCS in Singapore, has obtained a contract for the supply of a seawater injection filtration package onboard of a FPSO. Expected Installation date is mid. 2008. The package is designed for 80.000 BWPD and consists of a two stage filtration concepts based on the well proven Amiad EBS 15.000 automatic self-cleaning filters. The first stage with a 50 micron filtration degree will remove large particles and will protect the second stage which will remove all particles larger then 10 micron. The design philosophy is based on the successful similar installations onboard the FPSO Espoir and FPSO Gray Warrior. Read more
