Phase II - Extension of the Bedok Newater Plant Completed 15 July, 2008 Singapore Phase II - The extension of the Bedok Newater Plant was completed with the addition of 8 new units of ABF filters. Filtering secondary effluent, the filters serve as protection for the MF/UF, as part of the proces of treating sewage water for drinking water.
