Potable Water Treatment Plant for the Famous Mount Kenya Safari

Amiad Filtration System Ltd. has obtained a contract through its distributor Amiran-Kenya, to supply a Potable Water Treatment plant for the world renowned Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Hotel. Situated high on the slopes of Mount Kenya, and straddling the Equator, the Safari Club encompasses elegant buildings, luxurious cottages, manicured lawns and decorative ponds. Founded originally as a retreat for late film star William Holden and his associates in 1959, the club has become over the years a Mecca for International jet-setters such as royalty, heads of state, movie stars and other influentially rich and famous. The new and improved potable water treatment system to be supplied by Amiad Filtration Systems will provide the hotel with continuous drinking water supply of the highest standard. The system was designed specifically to meet low-noise level requirements and is equipped with double disinfection features; chlorine disinfection and a UV disinfection unit. The system, including 2 48” multi- media filters, pumps and disinfection units will all be controlled under one common master control board.
