Appointment of Mr Ilan Benguigui as a Non-Executive Director 29 July, 2007 Israel The Company will shortly be convening an EGM to be held in September 2007 at which, in addition to proposing a resolution regarding the appointment of its new CEO, Mr Rami Treger, to the Board, a resolution will be proposed for the appointment of Mr Ilan Benguigui, aged 44, as a non-executive director of the Company. Mr Benguigui is Vice President of Tahal Consulting Engineers Ltd. (''Tahal''), a company whose activities include environmental engineering, water management, wastewater treatment, agricultural planning, sanitation and infrastructure. Mr Benguigui is the head of Tahal's European activities. Between 2003 and 2004, Mr Benguigui served as a director of NUR Macroprinters Ltd., a company which at the time was traded on NASDAQ. Previously, between 2002 and 2004, Mr Benguigui was the CEO of MVT Multivision Technologies Ltd., which was liquidated in 2004. The Board of Amiad also announces that it has received notification from Mr Motti Dabi of his intention to step down as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2007. Mr Dabbi is leaving to pursue other business activities.
